Over the next couple of months, Atalasoft will be exhibiting at a bunch of events. We were just at the SharePoint Tech Fest 2009 event in Dallas, TX and are looking forward to Microsoft Tech-Ed 2009 in Los Angeles. DotImage 7.0b: New Barcode Reader and Silverlight Beta

Atalasoft has released DotImage 7.0b which includes a new barcode engine, improved processing of large TIFF and PDF documents, and a beta release of imaging controls for Silverlight applications.

The new barcode reader processes many barcode symbologies up to 300% faster than the previous DotImage barcode engine, but is still runtime royalty-free for applications deployed to the desktop.

For organizations ready to bring Silverlight document imaging to their applications, DotImage version 7.0 includes Silverlight controls that will be in beta until their release in May. We encourage you to evaluate them and give us feedback! Atalasoft Announces Gold Support for All New Customers

As part of the launch of DotImage 6.0, Atalasoft is now offering 3 months of Gold Support to new purchasers of Atalasoft's SDKs and server products. We want our customers to hit the ground running with our products so that projects roll out as quickly and as easily as possible.

For 3 Months from Purchase Date, all customers will receive telephone support, prioritized web support, and all minor and major product upgrades including new version releases. At the end of the three month trial, customers can opt to extend their Gold Support privileges.

Atalasoft is pleased to announce that the beta 6.0 version of its flagship product is now available! Atalasoft invites you to take part in beta testing between now and the first week of March when we will be announcing the release of 6.0 at the AIIM Expo in Boston.

Between now and the release, if you purchase DotImage, your serial code will work with both 5.0 and 6.0 when it is released - no upgrade fee or process required. If you already own the DotImage 5.0 toolkit, now is the time to add Gold Support & Maintenance to your products if you don't have it, to ensure your transition to 6.0 is smooth.
