The thumbnail viewer in the DICOM demo is very slow on my machine ( 1.66 Ghz and 512 MB of ram ) when I'm loading multi frame DICOM images with more than 10 frames .... Is there any way to make it work faster ??

The images I'm trying to load are taken from:

ftp://medical.nema.org/MEDICAL/Dicom/Multiframe/CT/nemamfct.images.tar.bz2

Currently, the Dicom Decoder will decode the full size image then resize it into the thumbnail control.  There might be some optimizations we can make in the future for faster thumbnail loading.  We'll look into it.
