Bill, I was very dismayed when I just bought home my new computer and tried to install my 1.6 version of Eyebatch on this Vista system. I have been using Eyebatch for many years now, on my older computers starting with windows 95, then ME, then windows 98, up until my latest windows XP, always moving my program to the newest computer without a hitch. I even have a link on the front page of my website http://reggaephotos.com to Atalasoft for eyebatch. I use this program all the time in conjunction with Picmeta's Pie Studio and Adobe Photoshop CS2, which by the way all work with Vista. The only program that does not work with Vista is Eyebatch.
I wrote your sales department a Mr. Rick Goudey to find out about this situation only to be told I'll have to purchase the newest version to work with Vista.
On January 13, 2003 I recieved an email from Kim Bither at Atalasoft extending me an invitation to try Eyebatch 2.0, which she said was far superior to 1.6, along with it came my sign in name with registration code. I tried it and found it not up to par with the 1.6 version so removed it and reinstalled my 1.6.
So I guess I'll have to find some other program to take the place of my old trusty Eyebatch, since I cannot afford to spend $59.95. I just wish it would have worked with Vista.
I guess whey you guys were just a little company your customers mattered.
Looks like I'll have to remove my link to your program from my website
