I purchased ImgX6.1 in late 2002 and have been reliably using it for a background Imaging Utility since then with no problems.

I have a Vista System and have no problems using this COM/OCX based Imaging Library, but recently have installed on some other Vista Systems and when the Form containing the OCX tries to load a "File Not Found" error pops up and the program does not successfully load.

This is a VB6 program that run fine on everything from Windows 98 to Vista.  I suspect I haven't considered some dependency in my Install and virgin Vista Systems might not have a pre-requisite DLL available.

I'm just including the following in my Install:

ImgX61.dll
ImgXTwain61.dll
ImgXPrint61.dll
ImgXDialog61.dll
ImgXCapture61.dll
ImgX61.ocx

Any insight into my problem?

You also need to include the AtalaImaging.dll. 
It's a standard DLL that does not need to be registered with regsvr32.

Thanks for the quick response Glenn, but I have ImgX 6.2 and I don't think AtalaImaging.dll was in the mix with that version.  To prove this point, my Vista System (where my ImgX App runs just fine) doesn't have this DLL.

I know that this is taking you back to ancient history, but what other dependencies might my old version of ImgX need that would cause a "File Not Found" error during the VB6 Form Load with the OCX that occurs even before the VB Form gets its Form_Load Event?

I actually stumbled onto the fix about:

Any program using ImgX 6.3.x or lower must install the following files:

_ISource22.dll
_ISEffects10.dll

...and that does it... 

You have a very solid package (even the old version) and I look forward to using some of the new stuff when the opportunity presents itself...
