I've just installed DotAnnotate 1.0 demo and changed my viewer from the DotImage 1.1 to use the DotAnnotate Viewer. Now, when I change the MouseTool, the cursor does not change in the viewport. It remains the default Windows cursor.

I went through Glenn's "Cursor Curses" but I don't even get that far before the cursor gives me trouble.

I've tried setting the MouseTool to something other than "None" in designer and code but it always appears as just the default. This is bad as there's no visual clue for the user that they can zoom, or select, or pan...

Make sure the [viewer].Annotations.InteractMode property is set to "View" before you set the MouseTool property. You can't use the MouseTools and annotation Edit mode at the same time.

I can confirm that Annotations.InteractMode is set to View both at design and during run.

I am having the same issue in 5.0.

Both the [viewer].InteractMode and [viewer].Annotations.InteractMode property are set to "View", but when I change the MouseTool to MouseToolType.ZoomIn / ZoomOut the mouse cursor remains the default.

 Any other ideea?

My mistake.  Set the InteractMode property to None, then set the mouse tool you want to use.  When switching back, set the MouseTool to None before setting the InteractMode.
