About 1 out of 1000 of our TIFF images saved with WorkspaceViewer.Save() end up with a mangled scan line somewhere on the image. These saved files won't load with Photoshop - gives "problem parsing the TIFF file". They will, however, load with WorkspaceViewer.Open(), but show the mangled scan line. The ruined scan line looks like a repeating gradient white to black pattern.
It's hard to duplicate this error. It happens randomly. We open images in WorkspaceViewer, do a few simple manipulations, usually just a crop, then save them. We don't see the problem until later in the QA process, where they spot the ugly gray line.
Anybody else seen this? We never noticed this on our two or three-year-old version of Atalasoft, but are seeing it now on the latest version, but only on TIFFs.
