 What is the effective way to implement caching in Windows environment. I have a folder thumbnail in my application.

We already do some in memory thumbnail caching -- what specifically are you trying to do?  If you want to create the thumbs and save them, our Thumbnail class is good for creating the thumbnails to begin with.

There are 3000 and sometimes 4000+ images in each batch, each file around 256 KB. When all the users come in and start the work they are downloading all these files which is crashing the drives.

I tried created small thumbnails. But the problem will be synching both folders. I was just wondering if there is any other way to do this?
