How do you see DotImage working with WPF in the future? I'm not sure if I want to dig into XMAL or not but I think that it's coming.
I had a similar problem with Janus Controls using VS2005 Express-- it went away when I changed over to VS2005 Professional. There is a Microsoft article about the problem I was having but I'm not sure where it is. Also my autosave was causing a lot of problem.
None of this might help- just my 2 cents.

Try using the Aquire (Custom Interface) and post what happens-- With the custom UI I don't have a problem-- using Xerox UI it is blank- (and goes thru the scanner as if it is not reading anything)- using Microsoft Imaging it scans fine. FYI - I was using VS2003 VB - Device.Close throws an ''Loader Lock'' error using VS2005 when using Xerox ...
I have a Documate 262 (66 ipm instead of 50- so real close) and I don't seem to have the same problems. If you post your code I will try it with one of mine. I have found that the drivers that come with the scanner on the CD are junk (seems like it was their first release) and I have needed to download the latest drivers from the ...
Is it possible to have the annotations show up in the thumbnails?
This may be an issue with the scanner UI and VS2005. A link to some possible work around info is at:
