PdfDocumentSave Method (String, String)

Note: This API is now obsolete.

Saves a PdfDocument into a new file encrypting with the supplied password.

Namespace:  Atalasoft.PdfDoc
Assembly:  Atalasoft.PdfDoc (in Atalasoft.PdfDoc.dll) Version: 11.0.0.0.0.297 (.NET 4.5.2, x86)
Syntax
[ObsoleteAttribute("This method is obsolete. Use Save(string, PdfSaveOptions) instead.")]
public void Save(
	string userPassword,
	string path
)

Parameters

userPassword
Type: SystemString
A value to use for the user password. This parameter may be null.
path
Type: SystemString
A non-null path to the resulting output file.
Remarks
If the userPassword parameter is null, then the UserPassword property will be used instead. If there is no userPassword, but the OwnerPassword property is non-null, it will be used as both the user password and the owner password. PDF documents have two passwords associated with them, a user password and an owner password. If an encrypted document is opened by a conforming reader using the owner password, then the security Permissions are ignored. If an encrypted document is opened by a conforming reader using the user password, then the security Permissions are enforced. When a document is created with only one password or one unique password, it is considered the same as having only an owner password.
