TwainMemoryWriteString Method (String, TwainItemType, Int64)

Writes a TW_STR32, TW_STR64, TW_STR128, TW_STR255, TW_STR1024 or TW_UNI512 into memory at the specified offset.

	string value,
	TwainItemType stringType,
	long offset
)

Parameters

value
Type: SystemString
The value to write. If this value is null (Nothing in VB), an empty string is written.
stringType
Type: Atalasoft.TwainTwainItemType

The TWAIN string item type to write.

If an item type other than TWTY_STR32, TWTY_STR64, TWTY_STR128, TWTY_STR255, TWTY_STR1024 or TWTY_UNI512 is provided, nothing will be written.

offset
Type: SystemInt64
The number of bytes from the beginning of the memory to the start of the data.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
Thrown if the TwainMemory has been disposed.
Thrown if the offset is invalid for this TwainMemory object.
Remarks
This method does not change the Position of the TwainMemory object.
