PdfFormSavingWillInvalidateSignatures Property

Gets a value indicating whether saving the document will invalidate signatures.

Namespace:  Atalasoft.PdfDoc.Generating.Forms
Assembly:  Atalasoft.PdfDoc (in Atalasoft.PdfDoc.dll) Version: (.NET 4.5.2, x86)
public bool SavingWillInvalidateSignatures { get; }

Property Value

Type: Boolean
true if saving will invalidate signatures; otherwise, false.
The PDF specification for signatures uses data present in a partially written PDF file to create a data hash to verify that a document is consistent with its state when it was signed. Under certain conditions, it may be impossible to retain this ability. Generally speaking, DotPdf will completely rewrite a file when saving and this will invalidate any and all signatures in the file
