Maintenance Overview
The purchase of an SDK or Server license includes the first year of maintenance. After the first year, you must renew your maintenance on all active SDKs to continue deploying new licenses and recieving the following benefits:

- Receive phone support
- Receive online support through our ticketing system with a less than 3-hour response time during working hours
- Upgrade to new major releases
- Deploy royalty-free to additional desktops (excludes ISIS and some OCR engines which require runtime royalties)
- Create new runtime royalty-free applications
Maintenance Cost
Every new SDK or Server purchase includes 12-months of Maintenance. Renewing for an additional 12-months is priced as follows if renewed prior to expiration date:
- SDKs: 36% of the current SDK cost
- Servers: 25% of the current Server license cost
Renewing expired maintenance will cost 50% of the current product price if renewed within 12-months of expiration, or 80% of the current product price if renewed more than one year after expiration.
Maintenance is tied to the developer who activates the purchased serial number. To change developers, please contact Atalasoft Sales.
