Atalasoft ImgX Controls 6.4 Help

Atalasoft ImgX Controls is an ActiveX imaging toolkit for Visual Basic and ActiveX developers. ImgX Controls allows developers to add advanced imaging to applications with little effort.

ImgX requires little or no knowledge of imaging. It's is perfect for both a simple image viewer display, or for a complicated imaging application such as our popular batch image processor EyeBatch created with ImgX and Visual Basic 6.

Displaying Images

The easiest way to display images is to use the ImgX OCX control. All the image displaying, scrolling, and zooming is handled by this control.

If the control is not used, the main library can still be used to display as it does allow the image to be exported to a picture object which can be set to a VB picturebox control or other control that uses the picture property. It also offers the Render method which can be used to quickly draw and re-draw a section of the image to a Device Context at any zoom level.

Compatible Containers

ImgX Controls can be used in any development environment which supports ActiveX such as VB6, VB5, VBA, Visual C++, Delpi, and FoxPro. VB6 runtimes must be installed on the client machine.

ImgX with ASP
