Image & PDF Processing and Conversion.
DotImage and its add-ons provide processing and conversion for image and PDF formats. Using our SDK, you can easily add these features to your .NET applications, and deploy them to desktops royalty-free, or to servers with a per-server license.
Format Conversion.
DotImage can be used as the basis for the image or PDF conversion features of your application. Using DotImage (or add-ons) you can read or write PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and many other common image formats. For specialty applications like medical imaging or engineering, we can read and convert DICOM, DWG, or DXF. We are also compatible with the .NET Bitmap class, so you can use any built-in .NET Codec combined with DotImage to complete the conversion.
Image Processing.
Of course, DotImage can perform any basic image processing function like crop, rotate, flip, resize, or resample. We can also do things that you might find only in an imaging toolkit, like complex overlays, noise addition and reduction, color management, or auto-leveling. And, we have extremely advanced photo and document processing like our fast (patented) Deskew algorithm, despeckle, border/line/hole-punch removal, and much more.

Metadata.
Image files have more than pixels, and using DotImage you can read and manipulate the metadata of your image and PDF files, including EXIF and IPTC.
Manipulate multi-page formats.
For TIFF and PDF files, we support reordering, removing, adding, replacing, and combining pages to create new files. Use it to split documents, replace individual pages with cleaned up versions, combine multiple documents, remove blank or redacted pages, or anything you need to do to make the specific document you need.
View, Edit, and Create PDF.
If you need to convert image formats to PDF, manipulate the pages of a PDF, or read or write PDF meta-data or bookmarks, you just need the DotImage Document Imaging edition. With the PDF Reader add-on, you can convert PDF to an image or view and annotate PDF in any of our controls. PDF/A and encrypted PDF are supported, and with our Searchable PDF add-on to OCR, you can create a two-layer PDF with the original image and recognized text.
