Atalasoft DotImage, a full featured and easy to use imaging toolkit for Microsoft .NET, brings advanced imaging to your desktop or web applications. It includes a collection of innovative AJAX imaging controls for ASP.NET, Windows Forms controls for thick-client Windows applications, and a robust, high performance imaging API library. DotImage is extensible with several add-ons and codecs available as functionality is required. DotImage is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures and supported in Visual Studio 2003, Visual Studio 2005, and Visual Studio 2008. Desktop deployment licensing is runtime royalty-free for the DotImage SDK and most add-on modules.

  • DotImage Photo Basic raster image processing. Includes controls for viewing, editing, rubberbanding, and printing images.  Can be used as an extension to GDI+ with added image codecs, over 100 image processing commands, printing components, and high performance visual controls for displaying images.
  • DotImage Photo Pro Raster image processing for the photographic and pre-press industries.  Adds support for image metadata, color management, regional processing, automatic color adjustments, RAW images, advanced image processing commands, and an asynchronous thumbnail list control.  Also includes our AJAX-Enabled Server controls for ASP.NET for zero-footprint image viewing, scrolling, thumbnail viewing, zooming, and editing and Advanced Photo Effects (APE) for automatically enhancing photographic images.
  • DotImage Document Imaging For professional document imaging with the addition of high performance scale-to-gray display, TWAIN scanning, auto-deskew, despeckle, border removal, noise reduction, advanced binary thresholding, multi-page TIFF, and PDF support.  Includes DotTwain for advanced TWAIN scanning, a full featured annotation toolkit, and our highly acclaimed AJAX-Enabled Server controls for ASP.NET with zero-footprint image viewing, scrolling, zooming, annotating, PDF annotating, thumbnail viewing, and editing.
  • Add-On Modules available seperately include the BarcodeReader for recognizing barcodes, OCR for full page character recognition with searchable PDF, PDF Reader for viewing PDF images, ISIS Add-On for ISIS-compliant scanning, CAD Reader for viewing CAD/DWG files, DICOM Codec to decode medical images and metadata, JPEG2000 Codec for high color and gray image compression, JBIG2 Codec for high bitonal compression, and Advanced Document Cleanup (ADC) for cleaning up scanned images to increase readability and improved OCR accuracy.
